Webinar: Unpacking the budget reconciliation law’s impacts on Minnesota’s clean energy future
August 6 @ 12:00 pm – 1:00 pm
On July 4, 2025, the federal budget reconciliation bill was signed into law, a move that will have sweeping implications for clean energy and climate progress in the United States. But how will these cuts and changes impact Minnesota’s clean energy future?
Fresh Energy advances policy change focused on equitably decarbonizing five key areas of the economy: electricity, buildings, transportation, heavy industry, and agriculture. When our team of experts reviewed this new law, we looked at it through the lens of how it would impact these key areas of organizational focus as we work to achieve our mission of a clean energy economy that benefits all Minnesotans.
Join our policy experts on August 6 at 12 p.m. for a discussion about the law’s implications for clean energy — and bring your questions! Half of the agenda will be set aside for an audience Q&A.
And please note, the current status of many of the programs we’ll discuss is an evolving situation. We will endeavor to share the most up-to-date information possible. A recording of this webinar will be sent to everyone who registers.
