Fresh Energy is speeding Minnesota’s transition to a clean energy economy, which will ensure that our region enjoys good health, a vibrant economy, and thriving communities today and for generations to come.
As our deep bench of staff members drives clean energy and climate progress in regulatory venues, the State Capitol, and beyond, our Board of Directors plays a crucial governance role in ensuring the organization is strong and true to its mission, as well as Vision 2030: Fresh Energy’s Strategic Framework. This winter, we were thrilled to welcome Channon Lemon to Fresh Energy’s Board of Directors!
Channon is an accomplished executive with more than two decades of experience driving innovation, organizational transformation, and business growth across corporations, startups, and nonprofits. Her work has consistently centered on expanding access and opportunity for small businesses while delivering strong financial results in complex, competitive environments.
As founder of Intent Energy, LLC, Channon provides business transition, workforce, and vendor solutions to the energy sector and serves in multiple leadership roles, including fractional Executive Director for the Minnesota Chapter of the National Association of Corporate Directors and board member for Ever-Green Energy and the Star Tribune Media Holding Company. She previously held senior positions with the St. Paul Area Chamber, Urban Ministries, Inc., CareSource, and the Minority Business Partnership. Read Channon’s full bio here.
Fresh Energy’s Board of Directors brings a powerful mix of enthusiasm and intersectional experience to the organization, and we’re looking forward to working together in the coming years.
We’re also exceedingly thankful for the service of Erika Bailey-Johnson, who brought a wealth of experience, leadership, rural Minnesota perspective, and insights to the organization. Erika served on Fresh Energy’s Board of Directors for nearly six years and played a key role on our Governance Committee since 2020. Thank you, Erika!
