Welcoming Steve, Fresh Energy’s new Community Associate

By |

We’re pleased to welcome a new face to the Fresh Energy team! We’ve been hard at work strategizing, planning, and advocating to continue driving clean energy innovation and bold climate-forward policy that will secure a just, equitable, carbon-free future. And our ever-growing team helps us do just that. Please join us in welcoming Steve!

Steve joined the Fresh Energy team this September as our new Community Associate, Administration, where he’ll support our external partners and act as a liaison to our board of directors.

Steve comes to Fresh Energy from Hamline University, where he earned both a Bachelor of Arts in English and a Master of Fine Arts in Creative Writing. Having grown up in Forest Lake, Minnesota, and spent much of his childhood outside, Steve has what he calls a “lifetime love” of the wilderness. Some of his favorite childhood memories include fishing with his dad and brother and camping along the St. Croix River.

Steve lives in St. Paul with his partner, their two cats, Olive and Pearl, and their leopard gecko, Horace. When not exploring the outdoors, Steve makes a point to carve out time for seeing live music, as well as reading and writing poetry.
