Lagers and Legislation

The 2026 session of the Minnesota Legislature begins on February 17, and it’s clear this will be both a transition year for our elected leaders and a building year for clean energy and climate policy. That’s why we need everyone ready to speak up to defend past policy wins, champion a new tranche of clean energy and climate policies for Minnesota, and ensure their elected leaders know and understand the clean energy issues their constituents care so deeply about.
We hope you and a friend can join us for our fourth gathering of Fresh Energy’s Action Network on Wednesday, February 11, from 5-7 p.m. at Wooden Hill Brewing Company in Edina. As it is every year, helping Minnesotans speak up about the decisions being made — and the defense needed to protect our existing clean energy and climate laws — is a top priority for Fresh Energy.
We need your help in growing this movement of energy advocates, so please, invite your friends to this free and fun event! Everyone’s first beverage of choice is on Fresh Energy.
We hope you can join us for a brief program at 6 p.m. when Brynn Kirsling, director, legislative and grassroots advocacy, and Ethan Culver, senior associate, coalitions and campaigns, will give guests a legislative outlook on what’s sure to be an exciting legislative session and provide a sneak peek into what Action Network members can expect in 2026. Margaret Cherne-Hendrick, Fresh Energy’s CEO, will close out the brief program with a few words for guests. Drop in when you can, but we hope you’ll join us for that portion of the event. And while we’re calling this “Lagers and Legislation,” Wooden Hill will have a variety of brews and non-alcoholic drinks on tap.
