In her role as session associate, Public Affairs, Molly McMullen supports Fresh Energy’s policy priorities through the Minnesota legislative session to advance action that contributes to achieving carbon-neutral economies by mid-century in Minnesota.
Molly joins Fresh Energy with experience advocating for environmental, agricultural, and energy policy solutions during the 2024 and 2025 Minnesota legislative sessions. Molly holds a B.S. in Biology and an M.S. in Science, Technology, and Environmental Policy from the Humphrey School of Public Affairs at the University of Minnesota. She is excited to bring this background and experience to support Fresh Energy’s priorities in the 2026 session.
Molly lives in the Twin Cities, where she enjoys tending to her houseplants, getting lost in a good book, and playing with her two cats. An outdoor enthusiast, she also enjoys hiking, camping, and canoeing — especially in the Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness.
