The City of Rochester and Electrify Everything Minnesota are offering a free workshop series to help residents electrify their homes, improve energy efficiency and reduce their environmental impact.
Workshop Schedule
- Get Amped: The Basics of Electrifying Your Home – Overview of how to electrify a home and the resources available to assist with the process.
- Thursday, April 3 from 6 to 7:30 p.m.
- Stay Cool, Stay Warm: Heat Pumps Demystified – Learn how insulation and air sealing can prepare a home for electrification, and bring heat pump questions for expert answers!
- Thursday, May 8 from 6 to 7:30 p.m.
- Hot Stuff: Electrifying Water Heating, Cooking, and Clothes Drying – Explore how to upgrade to electric appliances, including heat pump water heaters, induction stoves, electric dryers, and electrical panels.
