Conservation Improvement Program (CIP) Low-Income Workshop #3
March 30, 2023 @ 2:00 pm – 3:30 pm
For the third meeting in our Conservation Improvement Program (CIP) “Low-Income”+ Workshop series, participants heard from experts on the topics of efficient fuel-switching, financial incentives for utilities, and pre-weatherization measures, with time for discussion on each topic afterward. Slides can be downloaded here and a partial recording of the meeting is above (the recording begins during the discussion portion after the first topic presentation, fuel switching):
As a reminder, these meetings are being organized by the MN Department of Commerce and the MN Energy Efficiency for All coalition, to provide a space for participants across the energy efficiency ecosystem in Minnesota to learn about and provide input to investor-owned utilities’ 3-year energy efficiency planning for under-resourced customers (CIP “Low-Income” programs), which is currently underway.
Meeting #3 concludes the broad topics portion of these workshops, with the remaining two meetings focused on providing specific feedback to utilities’ CIP “Low Income” draft plans.
