Ted is recognized for his exemplary service to individuals, families, and organizations in the area of charitable giving and was named an InFaith Voice in Philanthropy for eight years and counting. Ted has also been named a “FIVE STAR: Best in Client Satisfaction Wealth Manager” by the Twin Cities Business Journal and Minneapolis St Paul Magazine and was named to the Thrivent Hall of Fame in 2015.
Immediately inspired by Fresh Energy’s impact in 2017 when first introduced, Ted and his family are personally committed to improving their environmental footprint and have been enthusiastic supporters of Fresh Energy.
Born and raised in New Ulm, Minnesota, Ted is a graduate of the University of Kansas and did post-graduate work at the Christian-Albrechts University in Kiel, Germany. Ted is a Certified Financial Planner and he joined Thrivent Financial in 1994. He lives in Edina with his wife, Karen, and his sons, Max and Chaz.
