Great River Energy Townhalls

Great River Energy will hold a series of town hall meetings in January to share updates on its Integrated Resource Plan (IRP) and gather input from members and the public. The IRP is a comprehensive roadmap that guides how Great River Energy will meet future energy needs reliably, affordably, and sustainably while aligning with Minnesota’s clean energy goals.
Attendees will learn about resource planning strategies, including renewable energy integration, carbon reduction targets, and investments in grid reliability.

Each meeting will feature a presentation from Great River Energy’s resource planning team, followed by an open house format where attendees can ask questions and provide feedback. Topics will include energy affordability, reliability, environmental stewardship, and how Great River Energy plans to meet Minnesota’s carbon reduction goals.
