Fresh Energy is committed to keeping Minnesota on the path to a clean energy future, a future that doesn’t depend on power from gas-fired power plants. To that end, on Wednesday, July 29, we took legal action and filed an amicus brief in the Nemadji Trail Energy Center lawsuit. Our brief, written by pro bono environmental attorney Barbara Freese, supports the Minnesota Court of Appeals’ decision to send the case back to the Minnesota Public Utilities Commission for environmental review on the impacts of a new gas-fired power plant.
