Meggie LaValley is Fresh Energy’s Lead Director of Individual Giving, where she oversees the organization’s individual giving strategy, including major donor engagement and stewardship, annual giving, fundraising events, and planned giving. She partners closely with staff, board members, and organizational leadership to build meaningful relationships with supporters and secure the philanthropic investment needed to advance Fresh Energy’s mission.
Meggie has worked in nonprofit development since 2008 and joined Fresh Energy in 2015 after several years with a Seattle-based nonprofit serving older adults. She believes one of the greatest privileges of her work is helping connect generous people with organizations that are changing the world, turning their values into lasting impact through philanthropy. A Midwest native, Meggie is happiest outside, preferably on the water, and sharing the magic of the outdoors and natural environment with her two daughters and husband.
