Isabel advances Fresh Energy’s work to move Minnesota to a carbon-free economy increasingly supplied by wind and solar. Before joining Fresh Energy in March of 2019, Isabel was the Development Director at Solar United Neighbors, where she helped the organization grow into a national consumer education and solar advocacy organization. Isabel’s previous experience in climate and energy planning at the Metropolitan Washington Council of Governments and national environmental NGOs informs her outcome-driven approach to stakeholder engagement and policy change. Isabel is a fellow and founding member of the Clean Energy Leadership Institute and holds a BA in Political Science and Sustainable Development from Columbia University. She’s also a big outdoors nature enthusiast and is an advocate for city planning that increases access to public transit, walking, and biking.
