We send our e-publications, action alerts, and event invitations via MailChimp. MailChimp uses web beacons in the emails sent via their platform. When we send emails, MailChimp tracks behavior such as who opened the emails and who clicked the links. This allows us to measure the performance of our email campaigns. To do this, MailChimp includes single pixel gifs, also called web beacons, in emails we send. Web beacons allow us to collect information about when you open the email, your IP address, your browser or email client type, and other similar details.
How Your Information May Be Used
We use your personal information to provide you with personalized service; to send e-mail alerts to you; to answer your requests; to request and process your donations; to register you for events and send reminders; etc. We may also use your information to track visitors of our website. This lets us see which of our features are the most popular so we can better serve your needs.
