Fresh energy is excited to announce some recent changes to our Board of Directors. This fall we welcomed two new members:
- Trent Mostaert is the Vice President of Solar and Emerging Renewables for M.A. Mortenson Company- a $3 billion construction company located in the Twin Cities with a large and rapidly growing business in solar and renewable energy construction.
- Kim Norton is a former Minnesota legislator from Rochester between 2006 and 2016. Chosen as a 2016 Bush Foundation Fellow, Kim is redirecting her efforts to her community’s rapid growth and development as a result of the Destination Medical Center initiative.
Fresh Energy is also excited to announce a new board chair for 2017-2018:
- Dr. Raj V. Rajan, the RD&E Vice President and Global Sustainability Technical Leader for Ecolab, was elected as the new Board Chair. A Fresh Energy board member since 2014, Raj drives top-line growth for Ecolab and its customers by embedding sustainability thought leadership into the innovation process, environmental metrics in internal operations, and sector-level standardization of sustainability metrics.
“With Trent, Kim, and Raj on board and in leadership positions at Fresh Energy we are more committed than ever to partner with Minnesota businesses and communities across the state.
“Fresh Energy is grateful for the excellent service and leadership of outgoing chair Anita Duckor who will continue to serve on the Fresh Energy board. Anita’s leadership definitely helped Fresh Energy raise its game and we will always be grateful to her,” said Fresh Energy Executive Director Michael Noble.
