Join Allen Gleckner, director of energy markets at Fresh Energy, on Tuesday, March 20, as he presents at the University of Minnesota Rochester Connects speaker series in a panel discussion on how Rochester can reach its vision for 100 percent renewable electricity by 2030. Allen Gleckner oversees Fresh Energy’s work related to renewable energy, transmission and distribution system planning, and electric vehicles. He has experience in solar policy, transmission planning, and natural resource protection from his work as staff attorney at the Environmental Law & Policy Center. Allen has a BA in political science from Washington University and a JD from Stanford Law School. He is a member of the Minnesota Bar.
Other panelists include John Farrell from The Institute for Local Self-Reliance, Elaine Garry from Peoples Energy Cooperative, and Steve Nyhus from Rochester Public Utilities. This panel is part of the University of Minnesota Rochester Connects speaker series and is held in collaboration with the League of Women Voters.
