Andrew joined Fresh Energy in October 2016 as a senior policy associate on the energy markets team. In this role, he will advance Fresh Energy’s policy work toward a modern electric grid, rate designs that drive progress, and expansion and integration of electric vehicles. Andrew brings a wealth of knowledge in regulatory policy. Before joining Fresh Energy, he spent the last three years as a financial and policy analyst at the Minnesota Public Utilities Commission where he worked on a variety of energy policy issues including electric vehicles, resource planning, rate design, distributed generation, and grid modernization. He also worked as a researcher for the Federal Reserve Bank of Minneapolis, BlueGreen Alliance Foundation, and Minnesota State Senate. Andrew holds a Master of Public Policy and BA in Political Science Summa Cum Laude from the University of Minnesota.
