This week, the trade commission proposed decision options for new solar import tariffs that will be considered by the White House. Fresh Energy executive director Michael Noble released the following statement in response:

“Solar installer is the single fastest growing job in the entire economy. Placing penalties on the solar industry won’t just hurt our energy system, it will take good paying jobs away from American families. Thousands of solar jobs in Minnesota alone would be at risk if these tariffs are put in place. We urge the White House to protect American jobs and reject these proposed tariffs.”
