Fair-lovers: don’t miss connecting with Fresh Energy experts at the Great Minnesota Get-Together this year!

Rob Davis, director of the Center for Pollinators in Energy, will be on-hand all day on Thursday, August 29 and Friday, August 30 in the Minnesota Eats wing of the Agriculture building. Rob will be talking to fair-goers about the connection between solar energy and our food system— including the importance of pollinators. Rob will be giving a short presentation on Thursday at 11:00 AM with the National Renewable Energy Lab, Argonne National Lab, Enel Green Power, and the Sand County Foundation.

For electric vehicle enthusiasts (or the EV curious), swing by the Eco Experience building to chat with our consultant and electric vehicle expert, Jukka Kukkonen. Jukka is helping the Minnesota Pollution Control Agency set up the Electric Vehicle and Charging infrastructure display which will feature a Tesla Model 3, Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV, charging infrastructure, and an interactive touchscreen map of charging stations. This area is staffed by Minnesota electric vehicle owners, so attendees will get a chance to ask all EV related questions from real experts.

Don’t miss the Green Garage by the electric vehicle display this year, where Jukka will be showing EV charging options and electric yard equipment, including an electric riding lawn mower.
