Fresh Energy is proud that our board member Kim Norton is a leading voice on energy sustainability in Rochester, MN. In a recent opinion piece in the Rochester Post Bulletin, Kim encourages Rochester to adopt the city’s Energy Action Plan policies in the near term to reach Mayor Ardell Brede’s proclamation in support of a 100 percent net zero energy goal by 2031.
“If Rochester commits to the mayor’s net zero energy goal, we will be doing our part to help maintain our planet for future generations. This infrastructure will be part of our community long after we’re all gone. A global destination for health and wellness deserves a healthy community and energy system to match.”
