Fresh Energy’s Alison Lindburg will be speaking about the Minnesota energy codes compliance collaborative in a session at the MEEA Midwest Energy Solutions Conference in Chicago.

Putting Together a Winning Team: State Code Collaboratives

Rather than relegating building energy code matters to a single department within a state, several Midwestern states have created collaborative building energy code groups. These codes collaboratives unite stakeholders from utilities, implementers and government bodies to achieve shared goals in energy code adoption, compliance, programs and baseline studies. Learn from speakers from Nebraska, Minnesota, and Kentucky on the challenges and benefits of creating a statewide codes collaborative, including the bumps in the road, the shared successes, and the partnerships created through these collaboratives.
