Fresh Energy is excited to welcome several new faces to our team this winter. Jillian Theuer recently started as Fresh Energy’s new Administrative Assistant. Additionally, three new fellows joined our team: Ben Bratrud , Kirsten Triller, and Anna Fineanganofo. Fellows help power Fresh Energy programs – and provide professional experience to emerging clean energy leaders.

Jillian Theuer
Administrative Assistant Jillian Theuer provides office support for the organization, and assistance to the executive director and director of operations and finance. Prior to Fresh Energy, she worked for Securian Financial Group and the St. Paul Neighborhood Network. Jillian graduated from the University of St. Thomas in May 2016 with a Bachelor of Arts in General Business Management and a minor in Spanish.
Ben Bratrud
Ben Bratrud is an Energy Policy Research Fellow supporting Fresh Energy’s Energy Performance and Energy Markets team. In his role at Fresh Energy, Ben researches and analyzes data on energy efficiency programs, and provides analysis on rate design for utility rate cases at the Public Utilities Commission. Ben graduated from the University of Minnesota Duluth in May of 2016 with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics.
Anna Fineanganofo
Anna Fineanganofo is Fresh Energy’s 2017 Minnesota Capitol Pathways intern. The Capitol Pathways program works to open access to the Minnesota capitol to the next generation of leaders of color. During her time at Fresh Energy, Anna will be working with our legislative team to build support and protect key policies this session. Anna is an undergraduate student from Macalester College studying political science and applied mathematics and statistics.
Kirsten Triller
Kirsten Triller is Fresh Energy’s engagement fellow. In her role, Kirsten provides support for a variety of engagement and communications projects, including the 2017 Power Pairing event series. Kirsten is an undergraduate student at the University of Northwestern St. Paul. She is studying biology and will be graduating this spring.
