Anita S. Duckor is founder and president of Duckor & Associates. As a consultant, Anita has helped transform a variety of business, nonprofit, and government entities, implementing a range of services, including strategic planning, business strategy, marketing, sales and communications planning, and organizational design. As a leader in the electric utility and energy services industry, Anita has developed and managed groundbreaking new businesses, products, and services. Notable achievements include establishing a new energy services business venture, an affordable housing subsidiary, and a first-ever retail electric delivery marketing department. Anita is active in her community, serving as an elected Minneapolis Public Library Trustee from 2002 to 2007. In that role, she led and facilitated a merger of two library systems and raised more than $16.5 million for the new Central Library. Anita has served on more than 20 regional, state, and national governing boards for the arts, community and economic development, trade associations, and business. She was also president and a board member of the National Association of Energy Services Companies. A published author, Anita holds her BS degree, with highest honors and distinction, in Business Administration from San Diego State University and a graduate of the Minnesota Executive Program at the University of Minnesota.
