Big inspiration at the Benefit Breakfast

Fresh Energy’s Fourth Annual Benefit Breakfast is over but there is still time to give, and many ways to enjoy and learn from the events of the day.

Nearly 750 people attended this year’s event at the RiverCentre in downtown Saint Paul. Together, with our speakers Rhiana Gunn-Wright and Jigar Shah, we had an exciting conversation about how and why we can transform our energy system while building prosperity and improving our communities.

Lt. Governor Peggy Flanagan offered a stirring welcome and two inspiring eleven-year-olds took the stage at the end to remind us all that the young people are our future and our conscience.

Our Fair of the Future and Electric Vehicle Showroom demonstrated how individual actions toward a cleaner, more electric economy can help us be the change we wish to see in the world, inspire others to get involved, and drive us toward collective action and policy change.

Two new videos premiered at the event and you can you can check out event photos on Facebook. A full video of the event will be available soon.

We were so pleased with the generosity of the people in the room. And if you weren’t able to attend, it’s not too late!
