Gil Penalosa, executive director of Toronto’s 8-80 Cities and well-known former commissioner of Parks, Sport and Recreation in Bogotá, Colombia, will join a panel of development experts at an open discussion about the possibilities for these once-in-a-lifetime urban placemaking opportunities. Fresh Energy’s director of transportation and the built environment, Shawntera M. Hardy, is a member of the panel.
