Many people members have questions about their utility's "Environmental
Disclosure" brochures. We thought it would be helpful to
post our responses to some of the most commonly raised
questions regarding these brochures.
Utilities Environmental Disclosure Statements
As of March 2003, utilities serving Minnesota are required to
disclose their fuel sources and air emissions associated with
production of electricity with customers' bills twice a year.

neat little web-based tool from the U.S. Environmental Protection
Agency that gives you an idea on how much pollution you are causing
as a result of your electric utility's fuel sources.
