EPAct Launches Fleets Toward Minnesota's Alternative Fuel Future - published by the U.S. Department of Energy, this report describes the "success story" of the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources and the Pollution Control Agency's implementation of the Energy Policy Act (EPAct) alternative fuel vehicle requirements and their active promotion of the use of E85 in their flexible fuel vehicles.

This is a new ethanol plant proposed in Minnesota with a capacity for producing 55 million gallons per year. Controversial aspect of the project is a planned coal-fired boiler on the site for the facility's thermal energy needs.
