2023 Benefit Breakfast

Tune in to Fresh Energy’s 8th Annual Benefit Breakfast—Delivering on the Promise: Celebrating the moment with an eye to the future—taking place on Thursday, October 12.

We hope you will join us back in person at the Saint Paul RiverCentre for a high-energy Benefit Breakfast program featuring climate tech entrepreneur Ramez Naam and Fresh Energy’s new executive director Brenda Cassellius. Together, with special guests, they will host an engaging discussion delving into why the stakes have never been higher when it comes to making our clean energy future a reality—and the crucial role Fresh Energy is playing to make it possible. If you can’t attend in person, please be sure to purchase a ticket for the virtual event.

Historic clean energy and climate policies both at the federal level and in Minnesota have created a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for our state to make major leaps in planning for and creating a clean energy future for all Minnesotans. All eyes are on Minnesota—but what does it take to make sure we make the most of these opportunities by equitably shaping and deploying the clean energy solutions in Minnesota and the Midwest, and continue building sound, equitable policy structures for even more ambitious and challenging advances in the future? Join us and find out!

Our featured speaker

Back by popular demand, featured speaker Ramez Naam is a climate tech investor and author with his finger on the pulse of market trends in wind power, energy, storage, and electric transportation. Ramez has spoken around the globe about how these technologies—and ambitious, actionable clean energy policies—are reshaping the energy and consumer markets.

Guest video message

Big news! We’re so excited to share that Leader Stacey Abrams will be sharing a special video message with our Benefit Breakfast guests! Yes, THE Stacey Abrams! Don’t miss her message, our featured speaker Ramez Naam, and other awesome guests—not to mention the return of the Fair of the Future product showcase! Registration is required.

All proceeds from this dynamic event will support Fresh Energy’s work to design, influence, and implement equitable policy to continue ambitiously advancing a carbon-neutral economy in Minnesota and the Midwest.
