In 2009, the United States consumed more than 286 billion gallons of petroleum products - approximately 23 percent of global consumption. Humanity CallsThe results are in! After two long months, and over 4,000 votes, Fresh Energy placed THIRD in the Humanity Calls/eBay Fundraising Tournament for the Environment! Now that all the votes and donations have been tabulated, this translates into a prize of over $6,250 for Fresh Energy - an incredible showing in a national competition of 145 nonprofits. A big thank you to everyone who voted, donated, and encouraged their friends and family to do the same. We couldn't have done it without you! And needless to say, we are absolutely thrilled with the results!
