Finding Fresh Energy in the snow

If you spent any time in the Twin Cities during the snow storm last week, you may have happened upon Fresh Energy's logo... more than 1,000 times. Minneapolis business Element Six Media has developed an innovative way for businesses to promote their brands through seasonal snow storms: the company physically stamps the snow with a company's logo. Check out the pictures.

The advantage? Besides being original and eye-catching, it's a sustainable method of advertising--Element Six Media's specialty. There are no trees used for paper or energy used for a large-scale print job. There is also no landfill waste when the product is gone--the snow simply melts. Besides the sustainability factor, the snow ads were particularly appropriate for Fresh Energy, which is dedicated to fighting global warming and protecting Minnesota winters.

In addition to all the passersby, Element Six Media's snow ads got the attention of WCCO-TV. Watch the video from the 10:00PM newscast on December 28.
