Ruth Patton, Communications Director

Ruth Patton joined Fresh Energy in January, 2003. She is responsible for the ongoing strategy, design, and management of all Fresh Energy’s communications activities. Ruth has previous experience in marketing and program management for academic programs, small businesses, and neighborhood arts organizations. She joined Fresh Energy to align her work with her personal values…she believes Fresh Energy gives her the opportunity to use her skills and talents for the greater good. Most don’t know that Ruth is an amateur cellist, running enthusiast (she finished her first marathon in June 2011), and poetry devotee. She graduated from Macalester College with a BA magna cum laude in Psychology.
