Ross Abbey // Policy Associate

Ross’s work as a Policy Associate focuses on active transportation, vehicle electrification, and lowering the barriers to rooftop solar PV. He formerly worked as an attorney specializing in intellectual property and sustainability law, and (before that) as a business-process consultant to Fortune 500 companies. Ross writes and speaks frequently on the social, economic, and legal aspects of energy and sustainability, and has been published in the Stanford Journal of Animal Law and Policy. He currently serves as Chair of the Environmental Advisory Committee to the City of Minneapolis. He holds a JD from the University of Chicago Law School and a BS in Chemical Engineering, cum laude, from Texas A&M University in College Station.
