Bethanie Kloecker, Administrative Associate
Bethanie Kloecker joined Fresh Energy in August 2011. As the administrative associate, Bethanie provides support for the organization with an emphasis on assisting the individual and corporate giving director and executive director as well as supporting the Fresh Energy Board of Directors. She has previous experience providing administrative support at the Ecosystem Science and Sustainability Initiative, University of Minnesota-Twin Cities. She has also worked with the City of Rogers, Minnesota and the local community towards a healthy local foods system during a one-year service position with the Minnesota GreenCorps program, coordinated by the Minnesota Pollution Control Agency. Bethanie has been an active volunteer offering her talents with a local nonprofit, Works Progress, for over four years, supporting their network of creative collaborators. She is interested in growing sustainable communities through understanding current patterns and encouraging positive solutions. Bethanie has earned a Bachelor of Science in Urban Studies with a minor in Sustainability Studies and Geography from the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities.
