The Minnesota Pollution Control Agency wants your input on how Minnesota complies with the federal Clean Power Plan, the first-ever national limit on carbon pollution from power plants. During the Paris climate summit, U.S. diplomats highlighted the Clean Power Plan, now in federal law, as a key component of the US commitment to reduce carbon pollution; in fact, the Clean Power Plan is the biggest step any country has ever taken to fight global warming. Minnesota is well on its way, based on bipartisan policies signed into law in 2007, to meeting our Clean Power Plan obligations, and has grown over 15,000 well-paying clean energy jobs.
Find a listening session near you, and join your neighbors in telling state leaders we need a strong plan for Minnesota that builds on our clean energy economy leadership. Please contact Dylan Sievers (firstname.lastname@example.org, 651-294-7144) for more information and to get your questions answered.
