Want to have a voice in Minnesota’s clean energy future? The Clean Energy Resource Teams (CERTs) will be hosting four statewide events to gather feedback from on Minnesota’s 2025 Energy Action Plan.
Funded through the U.S. Department of Energy, the 2025 Energy Action Plan will advance a number of strategies and technologies for clean, efficient energy in Minnesota between now and 2025. As a member of the stakeholder advisory group, Fresh Energy is helping shape the 10 year plan meant to come out of this process. These events are a great opportunity for you to weigh in on energy policies that you care about. Do you want everyone to have access to solar options? Speak up in favor of community solar policies. Do you think we can do a better job of cutting waste out of our energy system? Advocate for broader energy efficiency policies for our utilities, businesses, and consumers.
Public policy at the local, regional, and state level helps create a cleaner, more efficient energy system. Small group discussions will focus on these five topics:
- Energy planning
- Industry & agriculture
- Buildings & energy efficiency
- Mobility, transportation & fuels
- Energy supply & grid modernization
You can register online for each of the events below or call 612-626-0555.
