Take Action: Minnesota Senate committee holds climate change impact hearings

Next week, the Minnesota Senate Committee on Environment and Energy will hold two days of hearings on the impact of climate change in Minnesota. The hearings on Tuesday, January 22, and Thursday, January 24, run from 12:00 to 2:30 PM in Room 107 in the Minnesota Capitol building. Topics covered will include climate change science, climate change in Minnesota, and Minnesota initiatives and solutions.

If your state senator is on the committee (find out here), make a phone call to urge him or her to listen closely at the hearings and take action in 2013 to make sure Minnesota meets its carbon pollution reduction goals of at least 30 percent reduction by 2025.
