Launching 100 days of climate action

It’s time for President Obama to lead the fight to stop climate change and support a clean energy future. Pollution from fossil fuels like coal, oil, natural gas, and tar sands makes our children sick, disrupts the global, climate and damages our environment, our economy, and our families. The coal industry is on the ropes, clean energy is on the rise, and extreme weather has put climate disruption back on the front page. In his victory speech, the President invited a climate conversation, and we intend to take him up on that offer.

Join Fresh Energy and the Sierra Club in launching 100 days of climate action—from Inauguration Day to Earth Day. We’ll outline Sierra Club’s Climate and Clean Energy Legacy Agenda for President Obama, discuss opportunities in Minnesota to call on the Obama administration to take action on climate, and make plans for 100 days of climate action! A light breakfast will be provided.

Thursday, January 17, 8:30AM–10:00AM
