There’s a Healthy Air Twitter party tomorrow and you’re invited
American Lung Association will host event to support Clean Air Act rules and answer healthy air questions
On Wednesday, February 8, from 1:00-2:00PM CT, the American Lung Association is hosting a Twitter party, and you’re invited. The event will follow a U.S. House Energy and Commerce subcommittee meeting scheduled that morning, which is expected to explore avenues to weaken, block, or delay the life-saving benefits of the Power Plant Mercury and Air Toxics Standards. The Twitter event will feature air quality experts answering participants’ questions, including the impact of air pollution on children’s health, the relationship between air quality and lung disease, and steps parents should take to ensure the Clean Air Act can continue to protect the health of future generations.
Participants can follow the Twitter hashtag #FightingForAir to follow live updates from the Congressional meeting scheduled tomorrow, Wednesday, February 8, 9:00AM CT. At 1:00PM, experts will begin answering healthy air questions submitted to @LungAssociation.
