Top five reasons to attend our November 14 screening of “Revenge of the Electric Car”
On November 14, Fresh Energy will host a screening of “Revenge of the Electric Car” with the film’s director, Chris Paine, at the Landmark Lagoon Theater. (Get all the details here.) Do you have your tickets yet? If not, here are five great reasons why you should order them today.
- Meet the director. All ticket holders are invited to a special pre-screening, cash-bar reception with director Chris Paine at Kinsen Noodles & Bar (just down the block at 1300 Lagoon Avenue), starting at 5:45PM. After the film, Minnesota Public Radio’s Euan Kerr will moderate a panel discussion with Chris Paine and Fresh Energy’s executive director Michael Noble.
- Get a good deal. Are you a student or member of one of our partner organizations (American Lung Association in Minnesota (ALAMN), Clean Energy Resource Teams (CERTs), HOURCAR, Independent Filmmaker Project (IFP), Minnesota Center for Environmental Advocacy (MCEA), Minnesota Renewable Energy Society (MRES), and Neighborhood Energy Connection (NEC))? You can purchase your tickets for $10 instead of $12.
- See some EVs in person. We’ll have a real-live Tesla Roadster at the event and (hopefully) a Chevy Volt, Nissan Leaf, and an EV charging station (we’re still hammering out the details on those three). You’ll be able to see firsthand what the movie is really about.
- There’s a raffle! Enter our “Night in Uptown” raffle drawing for a Kinsen gift certificate and two Landmark movie tickets.
- You can buy your tickets in advance. Why worry about beating the rush on Monday? Buy your tickets today and you’re on the list.
